Working Bee

Posted Wednesday 28th March 2012

A working bee will be held at the College on Sunday 29th April, the second weekend of Term 2. A host of big and little gardening and maintenance tasks will be tackled on the day including most (hopefully all) of:

  • Gardening around the Art Wing
  • Installation of additional watering systems
  • Improvements to the oval
  • Tree planting
  • Planting along the Campbell Road garden beds
  • Repairs to garden furniture
  • Removal of bulky rubbish to the tip
  • Spreading compost
  • Repairs to the sandpit & adventure playground
  • Repairs to the back verandah of the Primary Wing
  • Installation of a bubbler on the Art Wing

Can you help us - with equipment, time, expertise, labour or a donation? We would very much appreciate whatever help you can give us. Morning tea and lunch will be provided by the Parents and Friends Committee for all who attend. Please contact the Parents and Friends president, Sonia Spiller, at spilair@bigpond.com if you can come or have any queries or ideas about the working bee.
